So how did the fans take our Trophy exit?
Working on the basis that you must take the rough with the smooth we asked some of the forty plus fans how they felt at the end of the game..
It might not make pretty reading, but if the team take the plaudits when things are going well, then it's understandable when the travelling faithful aren't too impressed with a disappointing performance...so if you don't like a little moan...look away now:
Jack McInroy;Walworth:
"We didn't seem to want it, perhaps Gavin wants to get this cup out of the way. Concentrating on the League is more important."
Ben Caldecourt;Warlingham:
"Disappointing!"
Jack Carter;Caterham:
"Really bad, really bad. Lots of room for improvement after that!"
Sonny Barton;Warlingham:
"Bit of a shocker, I've seen better."
Liam Hickey, Upper Belvedere:
"We looked like we weren't interested from early on & after taking the lead we never really imposed ourselves on the game and got what we deserved."
Very honest opinions there, from some of out loyal fans, which shows how much their heart is in the Club. Roll on next week when everyone will be, hopefully, cheering us on to victory at Arlesey Town, in the FA Cup!
