Sponsored Walk reminder

Don't forget that a group of Hamlet fans are walking from Champion Hill to Wingate & Finchley on Saturday 22nd April.

There is no set target to raise, you can get pledges for five pounds, fifty quid...or five hundred!

The walkers will set off from Champion Hill Stadium at EIGHT O'CLOCK on the morning of the game, which will allow for even the slowest of strollers to make kick off with ease.

The money raised will be split for two very good causes.

Half will go to our own fund-raising, namely the 'Inter City 125' campaign, which has a target of at least eight thousand pounds to reach, to thake our first Team squad over to Hamlet in July 2018, to take on our good friends from Altona 93, in a special 125th anniversary match between the two sides.

As that is a cause that is dear to us, and one that could fall under 'charity begins at home', we are very conscious that there are many out there who do not have a place to call home, so we have decided to donate half of what is raised to the national homelessness charity Shelter.

If you are not sure who he is then he will be selling the '50/50' tickets tonight, and on Saturday, at the steps up to the main stand.

The more the merrier...and every step taken gets us all closer getting The Hamlet to Hamburg in 2018!
