Support a good cause tomorrow night
Once you've had a post-match drinks in the Clubhouse after the match why not head to the Montague Arms, in Peckham for a special benefit night?
It's being organised by the Dulwich2Dunkirk group, which was set up by some of our supporters, to help those living in appalling conditions, stuck in makeshift refugee camps, just over the Channel.
All proceeds will be donated to Dulwich2Dunkirk to provide supplies for refugees, mainly in the Dunkirk camp. CLICK HERE if you can't make it but would like to help
...and other nihilists are a duo, consisting of two Hamlet fans Ev Thayre & Seb Cranshaw, who are home & away regulars behind the goal. They are curating what will effectively be a festival in a day. Starting early with spoken word poetry from the soothing and salient Calm Carl. Comedy compering and princely puns from the educational history and toilet gags expert Ed O'Meara and Hilary Bennett, queen of the jeux de mot, plus a full, fresh from fringe set from the sublimely surreal CheekyKita, 3rd place in the national Laughing Horse New Comedy Awards.
Phil Sebastian is a superb composer and can turn his hand from pop to orchestral with equal skill and a voice of almost crystal clarity. Men Diamler plays with passion, pride and a real variety while Timberwolf's soft, melodic, memorable and mournful folk will sooth us into an eclectic evening of riffs and beats.
Starting with the politically charged and preposterously delightful Commie Faggots we move onto and other nihilists and then, to finish off the live acts, we have Bristol's very own Ratty Sound with their genre defying hooks and acutely observational rapping. After 11 the incredible Bashy Beats take over the decks for bass driven dance craziness to leave us, extactic and whooping, loose on the streets of South London.
Entrance is £4 on the door, £3 after 11.00pm.
There's sure to lots of Hamlet fans in attendance, wearing plenty of Pink & Blue, so don't feel left out, head over there and join the fun, while supporting an important cause, that really will affect lives.
