Sweeney signs as Dulwich Hamlet strengthen squad

Gavin Rose has made a key addition to his squad with the signing of midfielder Daniel Sweeney from Kingstonian

Former AFC Wimbledon Academy player Sweeney made one first team appearance for the Dons in his time with the club but was unlucky to be released by the club as a teenager in 2013. On his release he was quickly snapped up by fellow Kingsmeadow residents Kingstonian and it did not take long before the composed midfielder became an integral part of the K's squad. His talents did not go unnoticed with a number of league clubs continuing to keep tabs on his progress including a trial at Ipswich Town.

Still only 21 Daniel has made nearly 80 appearances for the K's with a double figure return of goals.

Dulwich Hamlet extend a warm welcome to Daniel, wishing him a long and productive career in Pink and Blue.
