TENIOLA TIME IS UP AT DULWICH HAMLET

Dulwich bade farewell to striker Alex Teniola after his loan spell from Concord Rangers came to an end this week.

Making as a substitute in the 2-2 Ryman League Premier Division draw at home to Burgess Hill. Alex impact was almost instantaneous forcing Cheick Toure into conceding an own goal within a minute of replacing Roman Michael-Percil before crashing a header against the inside of the upright. Had that found the back of the net Dulwich Hamlet might have been celebrating victory over the Hillians such are the thin margins in football. Three days later Alex made his full Dulwich debut at home to Grays Athletic in the Alan Turvey Trophy scoring a fine goal after 10 minutes as the Hamlet romped to a 4-0 victory. Against Folkestone Invicta in the League he went one better bagging a brace in a Hamlet’s biggest win of the campaign so far after coming on for the last half hour to replace Danny Carr. Alex’s final tally three goals in his 7 appearance for Dulwich, 2 starts, 5 subs.

Alex has now signed for Greenwich Borough, currently holding second spot in the Ryman League South Division and whom Dulwich face in the next round of the Alan Turvey Trophy on Tuesday 25th October. It may have been a short spell in Pink and Blue but Alex certainly endeared himself to the club and all at Dulwich Hamlet wish him well at his new club.
