Our preparations for the new season continue apace and we are close to confirming the details of the squad who will be returning in pre-season.

Sadly, that also means we have to say goodbye to a few players who are leaving Champion Hill this summer and we would like to say thank you to each of them and wish them the best for the future.

Anthony Cook's announcement that he was to retire brings to an end his second spell with the club and we also bid farewell to Geofrey Okonkwo, Alfie Payne and Anthony Jeffrey.

All have played a crucial role in the club's efforts to reset and rebuild last season which we hope will prove to be the foundation for success in the future and so we would like to thank them for their efforts and contribution.

Whether it is on the pitch or in the stands we hope we get the opportunity to welcome them back to Champion Hill in the near future.
