The Chairman speaking...

The Chairman speaking...

Liam Hickey has been so busy with off-field matters that he didn't make the deadline for tomorrow's programme...

So this is what he would have told you then...a day early!

Tomorrow at Champion Hill we welcome you all and I would particularly like to welcome everybody from Folkestone and hope they enjoy their stay with us.

I am sure that many people will be surprised to see our visitors challenging at the top of the table but they are once again demonstrating what stability on and off the pitch can achieve.

Turning to our own current circumstances, we continue to seek a way forward that will secure the future of the football club, although we will only buy the time to do this through your donations so please, if you can, drop a few coins or notes in the “12th Man” bucket.
On the field, things could hardly be better following our win over Kingstonian. What is very clear is that we have one of the most talented players ever to wear the Pink and Blue in Reise Allassani and, whilst we are extremely grateful to have him, it is very clear that he is many levels above where he is playing.

However, what he is demonstrating is that having the right attitude, and turning up determined to do the best you can, are something that come naturally to him. He is an absolute pleasure to have at our football club and is destined to return to a much higher level, but he demonstrates again that the right marriage of talent and application is essential for success.

I would like to welcome all our sponsors here tomorrow for the game, and hope that they enjoy their day at Champion Hill. A big thank you to James Bond, Elvis Presley Pink ‘n’ Blue Hawaii Birthday Luau & Vic and Christable Hardman for their support of the club. Please remember you can be a match sponsor for as little as £25 and we have no limit on the number of sponsors.

I would also like to welcome all the Dulwich Hamlet Under 10s and their guests with us today and also Eric de Jongh who is celebrating his 8th birthday with friends from Dulwich Hamlet Junior School. They will be mascots and player escorts for today’s game.

One final request, please keep on helping our fundraising. I hope to have some good news by the time I write for the next home programme, which will be shared here as well on the club website. But, please, try to buy every programme, as all the profit made goes DIRECTLY to Football Club funds.

Finally, enjoy the game and, if you have any suggestions or comments then please email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or come and see me at any game.
