The Hamlet & aromatherapy? Eh?

Such was the eclectic mix of stands at the recent Fun Palace event in Lambeth's Carnegie Library...that's who stood shoulder to shoulder there!

There was a Dulwich Hamlet Football Club presence, publicising both the Club & our Supporters Trust at the local venue on Herne Hill Road, just under a fortnight ago.

As you can see from the photo, the Hamlet stall was right by a local aromatherapy one!

There was much interest in our Club, with people clamouring to enter our 'Isthmian Wordsearch' competition, with tickets to a forthcoming home game donated by our Football Club Committee for every entrant. On top of this one lucky winner, drawn at random, will be receiving a Dulwich Hamlet Family Season Ticket for the rest of the 2015/16 campaign!

Finn Roberts-Bond also held a skills session with some youngsters who came to the event in the morning.

Libraries, just like local non-league football clubs, are a vital part of local communities all over the country. And we feel it's important to have a Hamlet presence at events such as these...and it was yet another fine example of the Club Committee working in tandem with our Supporters Trust.

Unfortunately, since this event the very future of Carnegie Library has come under threat from Lambeth Council, as you can read by CLICKING HERE.
