The Reserve Team have their first match tonight
Our Capital League programme finally opens away to Hanwell Town this evening
This follows the aborted attempt to play our first match away to Wealdstone last Wednesday, which was postponed due to electrical supply problems at their Ruislip ground.
Tonight we start our Capital League season in earnest, with some old foes to take on, as well as new opposition.
This season there is only one division, and our opponents shall be Biggleswade Town; Cheshunt; Hanwell Town; Hayes & Yeading United; St Albans City; Staines Town and Wealdstone.
Of particular interest to Hamlet fans who might like visiting new grounds are the trips to Cheshunt, on Wednesday 11th December; and the away match at Biggleswade Town, scheduled to be played on Wednesday 12th February 2014.
In the League Cup, known as the Presidents Cup, we have been drawn at home to Hayes & Yeading United, cast for Monday 28th October.
Our next match will be on Monday 16th September, away to Hayes & Yeading United, which is due to played on their all-weather pitch, spectators only allowed to view the game from OUTSIDE the cage, on the old Yeading FC site.
Whilst our first Reserve game at Champion Hill is down for Monday 30th September against St. Albans City.
