This afternoon's Dulwich Hamlet's Youth Team fixture postponed

The ASPIRE Academy coached Dulwich Hamlet youngsters were given an unexpected respite after the FCYA game away to Phoenix Sports was called off today.

The Youth Team had been scheduled to travel to take on Phoenix Sports at the Erith Stadium in a game, that had they been victorious, would have clinched the Football Conference Youth Alliance divisional title for a third year running.

It would also have confirmed their place in the newly-inaugurated end of season playoffs to determine the national overall champions of the Football Conference Youth Alliance. Potential opponents could include Guiseley, conquerors of the First Team in the FA Trophy, FC United of Manchester in the North, east to Lowestoft and as far south as Southampton and Havant & Waterlooville,

Today's game has now been pencilled in for next Friday, same time, same place but by then the destination of the title might have been decided as Dulwich Hamlet's ASPIRE Academians have two games during a busy week. On Monday 14th Match their travel to Three Bidges, kicking off at Jubilee walk at 2.00 pm, then on Wednesday 16th it's a slightly shorter journey as they hop over to Coldharbour Leisure Centre to take on Millwall (Lions) also kicking off at 2.00 pm.
