Tom Chambers returns to SE22
Defender Tom Chambers has made his return to Champion Hill.
He's spent the last couple of seasons at Cray Valley (PM), during his time they reached the FA Cup 1st round where they took then League 1 side Charlton Athletic to a replay following a 1-1 draw at The Valley. They also secured the Isthmian South East title securing promotion to tier 3 for the 1st time.
Last time out he was a regular in a side that reached the Isthmian Premier division play-off semi-finals. They ultimately fell to defeat against Dartford in extra time after a last minute equaliser for the Darts.
Tom is a name some will recognise as he is one of our academy graduates going on to make a number of 1st team performances under former manager Gavin Rose.
On signing Tom manager Mark Dacey had this to say: "TC is a modern day defender. He's got a great ability to defend 1v1. He's a player who is comfortable in multiple positions so it was a no brainer to bring him back to the club."
