Tomorrow is FBB Day

Tomorrow is FBB Day

We are pleased to be holding a collection against Tonbridge Angels for our 2016/17 official charity partners 'Football Beyond Borders'

Football Beyond Borders are doing brilliant, and really vital, work mentoring youngsters through education, using football as their tool, all over South London and beyond.

The Dulwich Hamlet Football Club committee are proud to have selected them as our official partner for everyone at our Club to support, as one of our many social initiatives.

Tomorrow they will be looking for a small donation or two, so please donate any loose change you have when you see them at the match.

They will also have volunteers present who will be asking for some of you who are able to make a more long-term commitment by becoming a' Football Beyond Borders Supporter'.

You can do this for as little as ten pounds a month direct from your own bank account, by doing so you will join the growing band of fellow Hamlet fans who already help them in this way.

Ten pounds a month less than the cost of a single pint of beer a week, so should be able to fit most pockets, if you are in full-time work. Please consider signing up if they approach you.

All of these seemingly small amounts of donations each month go a long way...don't take our word for it, this is what FBB themselves have to say:

"Our remarkable reward visits and football tours are vital to the transformational impact of our FBB Schools programme.
Participants who meet their targets for behaviour, school attendance and academic achievement are provided with six remarkable reward visits and an end of year football tour. Last school year our students went on tours to Barcelona, Germany and Scotland and reward visits to Wembley Stadium, the Emirates Stadium, Sky Sports Studios, and met their footballing heroes like Santi Cazorla, Yaya Toure and Yannick Bolasie.
We want all students at our new FBB Schools to enjoy these rewards as well.
You can make this possible.
It costs us £1800 per school to provide 6 remarkable reward visits and the annual tour. We do not charge schools for this. Instead, we recruit 10 monthly supporters for each of our partner schools.
In September 2016, we grew to an additional 7 schools programmes so we need your support.
By joining the FBB Family tomorrow, you will become a vital part of the work we do to support young people to achieve their goals and make their voices heard. "
