TRUST US, HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS !

It is with a big thank you to The Dulwich Hamlet Supporters Trust that our club defibrillator is now fully refurbished and available.

The battery was reaching the end of its life and so were the electrode pads, so DHST stepped in to purchase replacements.

Duncan Chapman, Chair of the Supporters Trust, said 'Many fans will recall the tragic death of Junior Dian in July 2015. Junior was a 23 year old defender who was playing a pre-season friendly as a trialist for our visitors on Saturday Tonbridge Angels, when he collapsed on the pitch and sadly later died in hospital.

So when the matchday Committee recently informed the Trust that the battery on the club defibrillator needed replacing, we had no hesitation in agreeing to meet the cost of the replacement.

Of course, everyone associated with the club hopes that this equipment will never be needed but it is vitally important that this it is available and ready to use – just in case'.

The DHFC Committee would like to thank Duncan and everyone at the DHST for helping make our match days safer for all.
