Two contrasting wins for our Youth Team
Those pandered multi-millionaire Premier League players moan about too many games...So all hail our youngsters who have just played 2 games in 2 days!
Yesterday we came out on top, by the odd goal in five, away to Bromley, in the Kent Youth League North Division, with a double from Shawn McCoulsky & another by Jaime Mascoll seeing off the hopes of one of our title challengers. We now have one game left...at home to second placed Greenwich Borough at the end of the season, which could turn into an exciting 'winner takes all' fixture.
Earlier today, our lads hardly had time to shower, go home for a bit of Sunday dinner, and going to bed, before they were back on the field, against Millwall (Lions), in a Football Conference Youth Alliance Kent & South-east London divisional clash, which proved to be exceedingly one sided, with The Hamlet strolling to a massive 14 (yes, fourteen!) nil victory over our visitors.
There were Hamlet hat-tricks for both Kameiko Pope-Campbell & Tarik Ibrahim. Joel Belcher scored two; while the rest were shared around between Louis Adams, Oshan Proni, Sean Mason, Dereece Thompson, Diallang Jayesimi & Klajdi Cani.
This was the second time we have hit double figures this season, the scoreline eclipsing the thirteen, also for no reply, that we put past Cray Wanderers back in December.
