A 65th minute strike from Xavier Vidal secured a draw for The Hamlet and with it the title by one point.

A nervy afternoon ended with Dulwich securing the championship at an ecstatic Champion Hill.

Dulwich opened the game pressing hard for the early breakthrough that would settle any nerves and Ellis Green fired off two early strikes. Sandwiched between them Danny Carr was set free on goal but he could only fire straight at keeper Mark Zawadski.

On 16 minutes Xavier Vidal had a strike just wide and a few minutes later Danny Carr fired wide. However it wasn't one way traffic and on 28 minutes Max Miller fired wide for the visitors and a minute later Mathieu Boyer slipped and let in Nicky Wheeler who fired the visitors ahead.

Dulwich responded within a minute but Kevin James had his shot saved and that was as close as The Hamlet came to levelling matters before half time.

The second half opened with Dulwich in the ascendancy and on 49 minutes Xavier Vidal fired just over. The next chance fell to Kevin James who fired wide after an exchange of passes with Erhun Oztumer.

The Hamlet kept passing the ball and on 65 minutes they were level as Xavier Vidal fired an equaliser with a low drive from 25 yards.

Four minutes later Ellis Green comfortably beat his full back and advanced into the box but his cut back was scrambled clear. It was now Dulwich who looked the likely winners as they kept the ball and created a number of half chances.

But there was no further score and Dulwich were crowned chachampions.
