Members of both first teams visit Children's Ward to spread festive cheer

On Monday 19th December, six representatives from the club headed to the Children's Ward at King's College Hospital to distribute some Hamlet goodies.

Community Lead Rob Hyneman was joined by men's first team manager Paul Barnes as well as Sanchez Ming, Omari Hibbert and Frankie Raymond from his squad, and Madi Parsonson from the women's team.

Whilst visiting the Children's Ward, the players and staff handed out scarves and Christmas gifts to families who were staying on the ward in the run up to Christmas.

“At a time when we are all thinking about our Christmas plans", said Omari, "it was humbling to see such young children facing a Christmas on the ward. It was inspirational to see the strength and courage on show by all the families that we met.”

The players also spoke with the staff team on duty, and saw first hand the incredible work they do on a daily basis. They also shared the news about the amazing and generous fundraising by the Hamlet fans this Christmas.
