Walkover win for Dulwich Hamlet Under 18s in KitToFit Cup

The Aspire Academy coached Dulwich Hamlet Under 18s advanced to the quarter finals of the Kent Youth League Challenge Cup on Sunday.

Dulwich Hamlet Under 18s may not have kicked a ball in anger at the weekend after they recieved a walkover in their Kent Youth League KitToFit Challenge Cup third round tie at home to fellow North Division side, West Wickham.

With Dulwich's opponents unable to field a team, the league awarded the game to the Hamlet. The decision means that Dulwich Hamlet will now be at home to the winners of the third round tie between Margate and Dover Athletic's Central Division side with a place in the semi-finals at stake. That game is scheduled for Valentine's Day, February 14th.

Elsewhere in the Kent Youth League, the weather took its toll with the Under 16 trip to Thamesmead Town off, the Under 15 trip to VCD Athletic suffering the same fate and the Under 14s visit to Crayford Arrows also postponed.
