We have a number of guests this afternoon
Aside from our visitors from Bognor Regis Town, who have made the trip up from the Sussex coast to cheer on their team, we have lots of other guests
We are pleased to welcome our joint match sponsors, from the ASLEF trade union & the Hope not Hate campaign.
Also our match ball sponsors, from Southwark UNISON, who are long term & consistent supporters of Dulwich Hamlet Football Club.
To any newcomers taking advantage of our special four pounds concessionary rate for current card-carrying trade union members on this afternoon's historic Trade Union Day...we hope you enjoy our visit...
And don't forget you don't have to take up the cheaper rate! If you are a union member & already a Hamlet fan there's nothing to stop you fully supporting your Club by paying the regular admission price at the gate.
We have a number of other guests here this afternoon.
As already mentioned in an earlier post, we welcome back a group of residents from the Love Walk Care Home, in nearby Camberwell.
Also here are a party of youngsters from Athenlay Junior Football Club, who are based by Peckham Rye Park.
And we also have a group from the Street Football Association, who are instrumental in organising-among other things-the Homeless World Cup. We shall be working with them on a exciting charity project in the latter part of the current season next year. So keep an eye out for more details when we have finalised things from our end in the boardroom!
And, to finish off our 'welcomes' here on the official Club website this afternoon, we would like to welcome three fans from our very good friends from Altona 93, in Hamburg, who have come over to the game today, namely Jan, Mira & Lennard.
We hope everyone, old fans and new, have a brilliant afternoon, and-hopefully- three points for The Hamlet.
Always remember, win, lose or draw...the bar is open after the game, where you can always mingle and chat to not just fellow fans, but the players too!
And the England match will be on the telly too...so no need to dash home to make kick off!
Finally, a big thank you, as always much appreciated, to Mike Urban, from the simply superb Brixton Buzz website, for his continued coverage of our Club, in particular plugging the match this afternoon.
