We need YOUR match report on Saturday...
If you are a Hamlet fan eleven years old or younger your report could appear in the Non League Paper
Tomorrow has been designated the Ryman League Kids Community Day.
It's something we're fully on-board with here at Champion Hill, as all children are automatically FREE ENTRY at all of our home matches-as well as ALL TEENAGERS from thirteen to nineteen paying our concession price of four pounds.
We also offer free visits to matches to any local schools by offering vouchers to a specific game to pupils and guests, whether adult or junior, and against Billericay Town we are pleased to welcome youngsters, their families and friends, from Dulwich Hamlet Junior School, in Dulwich Village, where the roots of our Club grew from way back in 1893.
Also, under our ongoing Schools Initiative Programe, under the supervision of our Football Club Committee member George Parnavelas, we will be welcoming through our turnstiles Belham Primary School, from Peckham.
On top of these two schools, we have also invited young guests from our season-long charity partner 'Football Beyond Borders', and the St. Matthew's Project, who hail from Brixton.
All of them, as well as any Under Elevens who are at the game under their own steam, are invited to write a match report of the game against Billericay Town, up to a maximum of 180 words, in a special Ryman League Kids Community Day competition.
The prize for the winner, chosen from across all of the Ryman League matches played, will win £250 of Ryman goodies, as well as getting their report published in the 'Non League Paper'.
For a chance to win submit your match report by 7pm on Sunday 26th March. Tell us which teams played, what you thought of The Hamlet, how the atmosphere was inside the ground, who the best players were, and how the goal action was.
You should send your report in writing (REMEMBER 180 words maximum), you can include pictures and whatever else you think will make your report stand out. All reports will be judged by Entrepreneur, TV Personality, Chairman and owner of Ryman-THEO PAPHITIS.
All entries should be emailed to:
Further to this, for our own young supporters, if you also send your report to ourselves here at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club (to:
And we will also offer the chance of being a Dulwich Hamlet mascot at a future home game to the one we like best.
So don't forget your pens and notebooks on Saturday, before dashing home to your computers to send in your reports.
