Welling United Preview

Welling United Preview

The Hamlet face play off chasing Welling United at Champion Hill this Saturday (9th February)

The teams already know each other well have met three times already this season.

The Wings won 2-0 at Park View Road on the opening day of the season, whilst The Hamlet secured a win against Welling in the Buildbase FA Trophy with a 2-1 win at Imperial Fields, after a 1-1 draw at Park View Road.

Welling have been in the hunt for promotion all season but they have recently announced some reductions in their playing budget. However, they remain in the play offs in 6th place with 47 points from 28 games.

They have won 4 of their last 10 games, whilst The Hamlet have only 1 win in the same period, although they have produced much improved performances in the last two games.

The match kicks off at 3pm and the club is expecting another bumper attendance, so either arrive early or purchase your tickets online via See Tickets.

Gates open at Midday, with food vendors and the main bar open from that time as well.
