What The Papers Say - Southwark News Today
The Southwark News today reports under the headline "Rose expects new resolve until season ends"
Hamlet manager Gavin Rose is delighted his side have developed a never say die attitude but he now expects them to maintain that until the season concludes.
The attitude change in recent weeks from his players has pleased Rose. "It's a trait which I love. You can;t always win by scoring three goals and ease to a winand you sometimeshave to dig in for a win. After those two losses we sat the players down and said we wanted a change and they have given that in recent performances. The reaction has been good and we now expect the same from them until the end of the season."
In other news the paper comments that Tony Sinclair's injury may end his stay with Dulwich but Ahmed Deen may be back by New Year as the injury is not as bad as first feared.
On the subject of Frankie Sawyer, Gavin is quoted as saying:
"He played 60 to 65 minutes for us and it is good to have him back. Until he gets back to full fitness we expect to ease him in with substitute appearances, or to play for around an hour from the start, until he is ready for a full ninety minutes."
