Dulwich were able to bring back captain Kenny Beaney, along with Ibra Sekajja and Gavin Tomlin, from the side that lost to Grays Athletic as they sought the win that would secure a home play off.

With the home side only being able to ensure their place in the play offs with a win, it was no surprise that they were quickly on the front foot. Within thirty seconds they forced a corner and it was only a magnificent save from Preston Edwards that prevented them from taking the lead.

A cross from the Dulwich left was met 6 yards out with a downward header by the unmarked Laney that Edwards somehow pushed over the bar.

Dulwich came more into the game and they almost took a 6th minute lead. Ibra Sekajja got away on the Dulwich left and his cross was met by Nyren Clunis whose wayward volley was headed goalwards by Gavin Tomlin. However Sean Cronin headed his effort off the line.

A marginal offside decision prevented Dulwich taking an 8th minute lead as a ball inside the full back from Ashley Carew released Gavin Tomlin in behind the defence. The same player then produced the same pass to release Nyren Clunis but again a harsh offside call denied a scoring opportunity.

An unmarked GavinTomlin then got on the end of a lofted free kick from Ashley Carew but headed it wide, before Preston Edwards was called into action at the other end to clutch a goal bound header.

With half time approaching Matt Drage, who had already been cautioned, was harshly adjudged t9 have impeded a forward looking to get on the end of a long pass over the top. Although the actual free kick decision seemed contentious, having been awarded it should perhaps have produced a second caution..

Rather than risk being reduced to 10 men, Gavin Rose took the decision to replace Drage with Sanchez Ming.

Half Time 0-0

Over recent weeks The Hamlet have conceded a number of goals early in the second half but this time it was they that scored early in the half, going front in the 48th minute.

Ibra Sekajja seized on a misplaced pass back to keeper Shane Gore, rounded the keeper to his right and rolled a left footed effort into the far side of the goal from a tight angle.

Just three minutes later,, a fine pass from Gavin Tomlin released Sekajja one on one with Gore in the home goal. However, this time the Hamlet player saw his toe poked effort kept out by the keeper's legs.

With an hour played Dulwich doubled their lead. Gavin Tomlin found Nyren Clunis wide on the right and he accelerated around his marker. He then played a low ball across the six yard box and the unmarked Sekajja thumped home his second goal from close in.

The home side looked for a quick response and came close to reducing the deficit in the 64th minute. A corner delivered beyond the back post was headed back across goal and thumped clear off the line.

That was the closest the home side would come to scoring, and within a minute of Dulwich introducing Dipo Akinyemi and Panutche Camara from the bench they combined to add a third goalargest with 15 minutes remaining.

Marc Weatherstone played the ball forward to Akinyemi who advanced into the penalty area before laying the ball off to Panutche Camara . His first time effort flew past Gore high to his left.

Dulwich were now content to sit on their lead and, although home substitute Walter Figueira flashed a cross shot wide of Edwards'right hand post, they never seriously threatened a comeback.

With the game entering stoppage time, Ahmet Rifat tangled with Clunis close the touchline and received a second yellow card.

Final Score 0-3
