A Kevin James goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time secured a victory for The Hamlet.

The game could not have got off to a better start as Dulwich took the lead in the first minute. The ball was struck by Kevin James from just outside the box and struck the post; Ian Daly followed up and converted the rebound.

Dulwich controlled much of the first half but could not extend the lead and the home side had a couple of chances that went just wide when they were able to break out.

The second half started with Dulwich looking untroubled and it came as no surprise when Erhun Oztumer extended the lead on 55 minutes. Ian Daly received the ball in midfield and threaded an inch perfect through ball to Erhun Oztumer. He advanced and comfortably beat the keeper.

Dulwich now looked in complete control but that all changed in a way all too familiar of late. Firstly, Leon Smith was able to beat the offside trap high up the pitch and advance unchallenged from near halfway to beat Phil Wilson. Five minutes later it was all square as a Dean Mason cross from the Dulwich right went past Wilson and nestled in the far corner.

Dulwich had a couple of handball shouts turned down and it appeared they would have to settle for a point until deep into stoppage time. A long clearance from Phil Wilson was flicked on by debutant Kemo Darboe to Kevin James. He laid the ball to Ellis Green, making a welcome return from the bench, whose cross was flicked home with the finest of touches by Kevin James.
