WORTHING 1-4 DULWICH HAMLET
An emphatic second half performance and a hat-trick from Erhun Oztumer secured an ultimately comfortable win at Worthing.
The opening half saw Dulwich produce a very disjointed performance and it was no surprise when Brotherton gave Worthing the lead. However, almost the first time The Hamlet strung a series of passes together they were level as Nyren Clunis delivered a great ball into the path of the onrushing Erhun Oztumer who finished emphatically for the equaliser on 40 minutes.
It took only 3 minutes of the second half to establish a lead when a ball over the top was collected by the Worthing keeper just outside the box and his short pass to a team mate was then transferred to his centre-half colleague across the goalmouth. However, a slip from the defender left Erhun with a right footed finish into an empty goal.
It was 3-1 on the hour when Nyren Clunis was released some 30 yards from goal and he advanced to beat the keeper one on one.
However, a second booking for Luke Hickie on 63 minutes left The Hamlet to play out the rest of the game with 10 men. Despite a few scrambles the lead was maintained and it always looked likely that Dulwich could catch Worthing on the break again and that's what happened when substitute Xavier Vidal out-muscled the Worthing left back and delivered the ball to Erhun Oztumer who slammed home his hat-trick goal.
