
YOUNG HAMLET BUZZING FOR BEES' FA YOUTH CUP TEST
Dulwich Hamlet youngsters will take on the young Bees at Brentford’s Griffin Park next Wednesday night, November 20th and its FREE entry for all.
After Monday night’s 4-1 win over Brentwood at Champion Hill it’s a short trip over the river to West London to take on their counterparts from Brentford with a place in the third round proper of the competition at stake.
The Bees booked their place in the Second Round with a 3-1 win against Gillingham on Guy Fawkes Night Tuesday, November 5. Trailing with less than half of the second period remaining the young Bees stormed back to victory thanks to a brace from Montell Moore, who also played provider with the assist that enabled Courtney Senior to add his name to the score sheet.
It has been been a longer trek for the young Hamlet lads who have battled through the qualifying round to reach this stage. A 6-0 win “away” to Fisher at Champion Hill was followed by a battling 4-2 win at home to a Metropolitan Police before a single goal away win on Canvey Island set them up for the Brentwood victory.
The winner of this second round match will travel to either Burgess Hill Town or Bristol City in the Third Round.

The match will kick off at 7.45pm at Griffin with FREE entry for all. Generously Brentford have agreed to cover Dulwich’s travelling expenses for the evening.
The paddock in the Bees United Stand, on the Braemar Road side of the ground, will be open on the evening.
