Youngsters Prevail in FA Youth Cup

Youngsters Prevail in FA Youth Cup

The Hamlet got out of jail as they came from two goals down to eventually beat Metropolitan Police 4-2.

The Youth Team put in a strong second half performance to seal a place in the next round. However things did not go according to plan early on as a great strike from the edge of the box from Jack Knight gave Police the lead. Things got worse as the lead was then doubled by a goal from Luke Day.

At this stage Dulwich looked to be heading out as they were restricted to long range shots before, on the stroke of half time, Michael Oluwarjue headed home a corner to halve the deficit at the interval.

A strong second half then saw the home side take control as two fine strikes from Ramell Lake and a fourth goal from Kameiko Pope- Campbell established a two goal lead that was maintained by a fine injury time penalty save from Oshane Brown in the home goal.
