Your old kit for Africa!

Saturday sees our second KIT AMNESTY DAY!

This coming Saturday, at home to Lowestoft Town, will be our second Kit Amnesty Day, where all those attending - players, officials, supporters, are asked to donate an item of old sportswear or equipment if at all possible.

Benefiting will be the African Bible University, Uganda, and the Thembalethu Foundation, Zimbabwe.

If you are coming along please bring whatever you can be it an old shirt or pair of shorts, socks, boots, trainers, shin pads, gloves, training tops, tracksuits - the list is endless, If in doubt donate!

Maybe you ran an old Sunday team, or a Youth side, with old kit left to fester in your attic, basement, garage or garden shed. If that's the case...time to de-clutter and help those who are great need of sports gear.

The organiser, Julian Chenery, who was here last year, and has arranged similar collections up and down the country, the length and breadth of England, from down in Cornwall to up in the north, thanks you for your support; and we would particularly like to thank our visitors from Lowestoft town, who have publicised this through their social media outlets.

He will be in the Clubhouse, at the far end of the bar, for you to drop your spare kit off at, as well as for you to say hello to, and chat about his work.
