Youth Team begin Kent Youth League campaign in the morning
The Hamlet youngsters take on Orpington, with an 11.00am kick off, at the Kent County Cricket Club ground, at Worsley Bridge Road, in Beckenham.
Some sides in the division started their Kent Youth League season last week, in our 12 team Under 18 North Division, with Bridon Ropes topping the table, as they crushed VCD Athletic 6-0. Our visitors tomorrow, Orpington, also had no game, so it's a first for both sides.
The other scores last week were:
Fisher Youth 2, Ashford United 4; Thamesmead Town 5, Farnborough Old Boys Guild 4 & Tonbridge Angels Youth 0, Cray Wandersers 5.
The other fixtures due to be played tomorrow are:
Ashford United Youth v. Bromley; Fisher Youth v. Farnborough Old Boys Guild; Glebe v. Cray Wanderers & VCD Athletic v. Tonbridge Angels Youth.
Meanwhile, in the Under 16s North Division, the Hamlet team, also under the auspices of the ASPIRE Academy, are away to Bexley, at St. Marys Recreation Ground. No games have been played in this division yet, & eight of the nine sides open up their League programme tomorrow. As well as our match at Bexley, at 11.00am, there is another one at the same time, Bromley versus Phoenix Sports. Two others are due to kick off in the afternoon, at 2.00pm. Namely,Cray Valley v. Peckham Town & Vallance v. Fisher Youth. The other outfit without a match in our division is Cray Wanderers.
