Youth Team Into Next Round
The Youth Team progressed to the next round of the FA Youth Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Chipstead.
A game that Dulwich dominated from the start saw them finally score the goals their dominance merited in a 14 minute spell either side of half time.
The Hamlet put on another impressive display to see off a hard working Chipstead side and progress to play either Ebbsfleet United or Folkestone Invicta at home in the next round.
Dulwich were quickly into their stride although they didn't manage to create any early clear chances. In fact they could have fallen behind when a sloppy back pass saw Chipstead's Mathew Auletta, who worked hard all night in his lone striking role often isolated from his under pressure team mates, presented with a clear route to goal but he fired just wide.
Dulwich eventually took the lead in the 35th minute. A fine left wing cross from impressive full back Jamie Mascoll was emphatically headed home by Tre Zailor.
Six minutes later a free kick was touched to Mascoll some 25 yards out and he fired into the bottom left hand corner of the goal.
Half Time 2-0
Four minutes after the break came the third goal. Mascoll was again involved as his left wing cross found Kameiko Pope-Campbell who, despite stumbling, was able to set the ball up for Ade Batula to score.
The rest of the game was played out without further goals, and mostly inside the Chipstead half, with Ediz Hoca in the Dulwich goal having an untroubled evening.
Final Score 3-0
