Dulwich Reserves had an emphatic victory on the road against Clapton on their Thursday night road trip in front of more than 100 fans. Dulwich caught Clapton cold as Dalia Fraga-Martinez tucked away a rebound from a Gloria Kelly strike in the 1st minute. Clapton couldn’t handle Dulwich’s energy and clinical finishing with Gloria completing a 16 minute hattrick with a lovely first time finish from a cross from Emily Auld. With Dulwich in cruise control  after 30 mins, Clapton got one back before captain Anna Stones tucked in a penalty to restore Dulwich’s four goal cushion and go in 5 -1 up at half time. Dulwich continued to control the second half but with both teams making changes, the game lost its fluency and neither team were able to take their chances. Dulwich finally scored a sixth as Kendal Drake prodded home from a corner before Clapton got a late consolation with a long distance strike.

Dulwich Reserves now turn to the cups with away fixtures against Sutton United in the League Cup on the 8th November and Kingsmeadow United in the Capital Cup on the 15th November.
