MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Millwall Lionesses | 18/1/26
Our Capital Women's Cup campaign begins on Sunday afternoon as Millwall Lionesses visit Champion Hill for a South London derby.
The Hamlet reached the final of this competition last season with a memorable victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the semi-finals.
Ultimately though the Hamlet fell to defeat against Arsenal in the final in what was Ryan Dempsey's final game in charge of the side.
It's our first meeting with Millwall since our title winning season in the L&SERWFL Premier division. The Hamlet were victorious 1-0 in March 2024 in a result that put the Hamlet within touching distance of the title.
It's our 1st competitive fixture of 2026 following the postponement of our away trip to Chesham United on January 4th.
Last weekend however, we visited tier 3 side Real Bedford and played out a 0-0 draw with the side that is pushing for promotion into the Women's Championship.
Millwall Lionesses last league victory came against Aylesford on November 2nd, the following week they took on our own reserves side and were defeated 2-1 in the L&SERWFL Cup determining round.
SQUAD NEWS:
Liz O'Callaghan returned to action against Real Bedford last weekend after a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Apart from that a fully fit Hamlet side will be in action this weekend.
