At the Hill tomorrow
We are pleased to welcome the Mayor of Southwark, Councillor Dora Dixon-Fyle.
As well as Mayor Dora Dixon-Fyle being a guest for tomorrow's Ryman League Premier Division match at home to Enfield Town, there shall be a ground collection for the Mayor of Southwark's charity with buckets. Her chosen beneficiaries this year are
&
the British Red Cross.
We hope any of our fans who are able, will give as generously as possible.
Dulwich Hamlet Football Club will also be donating the proceeds from the '50/50 Draw' sales to the collection, to add to what is thrown into the buckets.
We are grateful to Norfolk-based Hamlet fan Kevin Holland for stepping forward to sell the tickets, on a rare long-distance visit to Champion Hill for him.
Many newer Hamlet fans will not be aware of the great community work Kevin did for our Club in the Nineties, when he was our community officer, when his 'day job' was a beat bobby on the Aylesbury Estate, in Walworth; & he also served as Vic-Chairman of the Club for a spell too.
