BOXING DAY TRAVEL TO CHAMPION HILL
For fans travelling to Dulwich Hamlet’s Ryman Premier Division fixture with Kingstonian on Saturday 26th December it is advised to plan ahead.
With the Rail Network running a very reduced service on Boxing Day, there will be no trains serving East Dulwich station that day. Similarly, there are no trains serving Denmark Hill, nor will the London Overground service be operating to that station.
A Sunday service will be operating on all bus routes serving Champion Hill. These include:
- The P13 from New Cross Gate through Peckham to Streatham, serving East & West Dulwich
- The 185 from Lewisham via Forest Hill to Victoria serving Vauxhall, Oval and Camberwell
- The 176 from Penge via Sydenham to Tottenham Court Road, serving Forest Hill, Elephant & Castle and Waterloo
- The 40 from Dulwich Library to Aldgate through East Dulwich and also serving Camberwell, Elephant & Castle and Blackfriars
Supporters travelling from Brixton would be advised to use the 37 bus which stop by Dulwich Hospital leaving a short walk down Melbourne Grove to reach the foot of Dog Kennel Hill
Supporters intending to arrive by car are reminded that there is limited car parking space at Champion Hill & this will be reserved for players and officials in the first instance. There is off-street parking in the vicinity but please be respectful to local residents.
