Corinthian-Casuals 1-4 Dulwich Hamlet

Corinthian-Casuals 1-4 Dulwich Hamlet

A strong Hamlet line up turned in a thoroughly professional performance as Ryan Moss bagged a hat-trick.

Gavin Rose made some changes to the line-up but named a strong side. Oshane Brown replaced Phil Wilson in goal and Jack Dixon, Jordan Clarke & Jordan Hibbert came into the side.

Dulwich were quickly into their stride and took a 4th minute lead. Matt Drage found Ryan Moss and, although his initial effort was saved by Danny Bracken, he followed up to score.

Dulwich produced some neat football on a playing surface that held up very well under the torrential rain. Damian Scannell should perhaps have done better when he was presented with a good chance created by Ryan Moss & Jordan Hibbert.

Oshane Brown was seeing little action around his goal, although he did have to pull off a good low save and there was another effort that was narrowly wide.

Ryan Moss almost had a second goal but, having out jumped Bracken, his header was cleared off the line. Jordan Hibbert then forced a good save from Bracken before Dulwich doubled their lead in the 37th minute.

A crunching tackle in midfield won the ball and it was quickly moved forward where Jordan Clarke's backheeled the ball to Moss who finished emphatically into the roof of the net.

Half Time 0-2

The second half was less than a minute old when Moss completed his hat trick. A through ball released him in on goal and he gave Bracken no chance.

Corinthian-Casuals reduced the arrears in the 54th minute as a shot was inadvertently diverted past Oshane Brown by Jack Dixon. This was the cue for Casuals to have their best spell of the game during which Oshane Brown had to be out smartly to thwart a one-on-one.

However, Dulwich Hamlet regained control and they added a fourth in the 69th minute. A goal kick from Oshane Brown reached Ashley Carew and his cross found fellow substitute Albert Jarrett who chested it down and finished emphatically.

Kevin James header from 6 yards out forced a good save from Bracken and the same player saw a last minute effort blocked as Dulwich remained in control until the end.

Final Score 1-4
