Bromley 1-2 Dulwich Hamlet
Dulwich completed a morale boosting win at Bromley courtesy of a second half winner from Junior James.
Dulwich were very slow out of the blocks against their Skrill South opponents and after being pushed back it was no surprise when after Phil Wilson made a fine 13th minute stop from a low shot that Pierre-Joseph Dubois was quickest to follow up and slot into the empty net.
Bromley remained on top for the rest of the opening half hour but were unable to create any clear cut chances. And then The Hamlet clicked into gear and dominated the last quarter of an hour with Kevin James pulling the strings in midfield and wingers Green and Walker getting joy on the flanks.
As pressure built Dulwich forced a number of corners and from one of these Erhun Oztumer curled one that flew straight in untouched. In fact Dulwich could easily have been in front at the break as a Kevin James free kick struck the post and both Erhun Oztumer and Billy Crook had efforts blocked.
The second half was one dominated by Dulwich for long periods with their possession football and it was no surprise when Kevin James delivered a free kick from the left which was headed home from 6 yards by brother Junior James.
From that time to the final whistle Dulwich remained untroubled at the back and deserved their victory.
