Charity fun game TONIGHT
A Hamlet Youth XI, under the wing of Gavin Roses's ASPIRE Academy, take on a squad from 'Football Beyond Borders' this evening
Kick off, at Champion Hill, is at 7.45pm...and admission is FREE. A small programme has been produced, with our Supporters' Trust helping to sell the, in lieu of admission, with Trust members shaking collecting buckets for donations to the South London based FOOTBALL BEYOND BORDERS charity.
The Dulwich Hamlet Supporters' Trust are also kindly sponsoring the game, in lieu of a donation to the FBB coffers, with Dulwich Hamlet Football Club covering the costs of staging the night, so that EVERY SINGLE PENNY collected will go DIRECT to FBB funds.
Dulwich Hamlet Football Club are pleased to announce that tonight's event will be the official start of Football Beyond Borders being our official Club Charity Partner for the 2016/17; after a successful season, where we worked with Walworth Road based mental health charity Cooltan Arts.
Football Club Committee member for community initiatives, Mishi Morath, said:
"It's a link-up that I am sure will be extremely popular with all of our fans over the next twelve months. A number of us on the terraces are already keen supporters of the work that FBB does & we have worked with them in the past. Making it official over the next season will hopefully not just raise money for them, but build a strong working relationship to raise their profile throughout the Ryman League, and non-league football general."
