Cheadle Arrives For A Month
Dorking left-back bolsters defensive options
The Hamlet have signed Dorking Wanderers left-sided defender Jordan Cheadle on a one-month loan deal.
The 32-year-old will add extra competition for places in the back four, and is in line to make his debut for the visit of Bath City this weekend.
Cheadle joined the National League side in December 2021, and played an integral role in their promotion from the National League South last season, playing seventeen times in the league in the second half of the season, and in the two playoff wins against Oxford City and Ebbsfleet United.
The defender began the season in the Dorking line-up in their maiden season in the National League, appearing five times in August, but has only played twice since then, the most recent appearance coming at the end of January.
Prior to arriving at Meadowbank, Cheadle had successful spells with Kingstonian, Walton Casuals and Carshalton Athletic among others, and has been renowned for chipping in with goals from defence throughout his career.
Jordan will wear the number 5 shirt recently vacated by Josh Hill following his departure to Hemel Hempstead Town.
Welcome to the club Jordan, we hope you enjoy your time with us!
