Midfielder released from contract

The club can confirm that midfielder James Comley has been released from his contract by mutual consent.

Coms joined us in the summer from Boreham Wood, and went on to make 14 appearances for the club, nine of them starts, and claimed two assists, both coming in our London Senior Cup win against Athletic Newham in September.

After battling with tendonitis, the midfielder made his debut in our defeat to Welling United on Bank Holiday Monday, and also started what would be Gavin Rose's final match in charge at Tonbridge Angels.

The 32-year-old found game time hard to come by in recent month, having not started a league game after Boxing Day, with just three substitute appearances and a London Senior Cup start in 2023
