Josh Fawole Added To Squad
Former Maidstone striker reunites with Hakan Hayrettin
New Dulwich Hamlet manager Hakan Hayrettin has made his first signing since joining the club by bringing in 25-year-old forward Josh Fawole from Aveley.
The American joined the Millers in February from Maidstone United, and will now reunite with Hakan, with the pair having worked together earlier in the season at The Gallagher Stadium.
Josh grew up in Maryland, playing for the likes of Baltimore Bohemians and FC Baltimore during his early career, scoring 10 goals in nine games for the latter.
After spells with The Villages SC and Loudoun United, Josh came to England to trial with National League side Aldershot Town in 2021, playing four times, before being loaned out to the Southern League three times, playing for Farnborough, Salisbury and Beaconsfield Town.
He was signed by Hakan at Maidstone in the summer, making five starts and 15 substitute appearances in the National League before his brief stint with Aveley.
Josh has been given the number 22 shirt, and is eligible to make his debut against St Albans City today.
Welcome to the club Josh, we hope you enjoy your time in pink and blue!
