Danny Carr to grace Champion Hill tonight!

Last season's top scorer DANNY CARR returns to Champion Hill this evening with his new HUDDERSFIELD TOWN teammates-kick off time at SEVEN O'CLOCK

Former Hamlet fans favourite Danny Carr will be on show tonight for his new club, follwing his summer move to the famous Football League Championship side from Yorkshire, HUDDERSFIELD TOWN.

He is sure to get a warm welcome from our fans, whose many magnificent goals he gave so much pleasure to, in our title winning side last season.

PLEASE REMEMBER that the kick-off this evening is at the EARLIER time of SEVEN O'CLOCK, at the request of our visitors.

The mouthwatering pre-season match at Champion Hill tonight has been previewed in today's midweek edition of the 'South London Press':

Dulwich hope to see Carr on show

Dulwich Hamlet boss Gavin Rose hopes former striker Daniel Carr will make an appearance for Hudddersfield Town when they visit Champion Hill tonight.
The friendly was arranged as part of the deal that took Carr, whose goals were a huge factor in helping Dulwich win the Ryman One Division One South title last season, to West yorkshire in the summer.
Roose expects the youngster to get a warm welcome from the home fans if he plays. "Daniel was very popular here and helped the club to promotion so our fans are really happy for him for getting back into professional football," he said. "I hope he plays because it will add to the feel-good factor of the occasion. I expect them to send a mainly U21 side with one or two seniors-so it will be a strong team."
Tonight's friendly kicks off at 7pm.
Hamlet were unable to lift the Geoff Harvey Memorial Vase as they lost 4-1 in the final against Kingstonian on Sunday. The South Londoners were victorious in their semi-final as they won 3-1 against Carshalton Athletic. They initially fell behind but scored twice in 60 seconds through Ellis Green and Gabriel Oduniake to take the lead, with Dean Lodge wrapping up the win.
But the final proved to be a disaster. Junior James claimed the consolation for the Ryman Premier Division new boys.
