DRAW FOR ALAN TURVEY TROPHY PAIRS DULWICH HAMLET WITH...?
After Tuesday night’s win, Dulwich Hamlet will return to Champion Hill for a third round tie against as yet unknown opponents.
The draw for the 3rd Round of the Ryman League’s Alan Turvey Trophy (Sponsored by Robert Dyas) has paired Dulwich Hamlet with the winners of the Faversham Town and Hastings United. Their second-round tie is not scheduled to take place until Tuesday 8th November.
Of course, a rematch with Faversham gives Gavin Rose’s men the opportunity to avenge last season’s exit from the competition at the hands of the Salters when Renford Tenyue’s brace sent his side through on their way to final meeting with Kingstonian. However, it has been some time since paths crossed with Hastings United, the club relegated from the Premier Division the same season Dulwich claimed the Ryman South Championship. Our last meeting came at First Qualifying Round stage of the FA Trophy when the Hamlet upset the odds winning 2-1 at the Pilot Field after a 2-2 draw here at Champion Hill.
Once our opponents are confirmed a date for this fixture will be arranged.
The full third round draw:
- AFC Hornchurch v AFC Sudbury
- Billericay Town v Brightlingsea Regent/Bowers & Pitsea
- DULWICH HAMLET v Faversham Town/Hastings United
- Harrow Borough v South Park/Carshalton Athletic
