Dulwich Hamlet 0-0 Walton & Hersham
A competitive workout for a side that was a mix of youth and more experienced players.
It was a game that was competitive but with few chances created and both keepers rarely tested. Dulwich were on the back foot early on as Walton capitalised on some uncharacteristic sloppy passing to put pressure on the defence. However, Marc-Anthony Okoye & Sulaiman Bangura cleared most of the danger, with Phil Wilson his usual commanding presence behind them.
Youngsters Fabian Reid & Emiliano Hysi, together with Xavier Vidal, gradually asserted themselves in midfield and, with Laurent Hamici holding the ball up well in the centre forward position, it was Sean Lodge who got in behind the defence but couldn't get enough power on his finish as he was left one on one with the keeper.
The second half saw Ashley Robinson flash a couple of long range efforts wide but both defences remained in control to ensure a stalemate.
