Enjoy Lording it up tonight
It's a big night for our friends at Dulwich Cricket Club in a few hours time
As part of the Dulwich C.C. one hundred and fiftieth anniversary celebrations they are having a dinner this evening at the home of English cricket, Lords.
One of our own, programme editor John Lawrence, will be there as-believe it not- his first love before The Hamlet is Dulwich Cricket Club!
But we won't hold that against him, honest! Due to his love of The Hamlet as we he will be at Bognor Regis tomorrow for our match against Worthing, almost certainly 'reluctantly', which we use in the nicest possible way! For, as part of the cricketing celebrations a Dulwich Club XI take on the Cross Arrows at Lords Nursery Ground, first ball being bowled at 11.30am. John will be there 'in spirit and heart', but 'in body' will be 'stuck' on our coach down to the South Coast.
From all at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club we hope our local cricket club have a memorable and wonderful evening.
