Popular Milbourn leaves the Hamlet

We are sad to announce the departure of forward Ellie Milbourn from the club as she moves to Bristol to begin a new job.

The 25-year-old joined the Hamlet last season, making her debut off the bench in the side's 9-0 thrashing of London Seaward Reserves in the Combined Counties Midweek Cup in November 2021. Ellie would then go on to score in her full debut for the side two and a half weeks later, scoring the first goal in a 4-1 victory against the Seaward first team at Champion Hill.

During her time with the club, the former Loughborough University player made a total of 12 appearances, scoring twice, that second and final goal coming back in October in our 6-2 loss to Millwall Lionesses.

Ellie will be missed by Ryan and the squad, defenders in this league certainly won't miss her pace! Best of luck to you Ellie, we wish you the very best for the future! Stay spicy!
