Fingers crossed..
Without wishing to tempt fate, this afternoon could prove to an historic moment for the supporters' "12th Man" campaign
The fund raising scheme, officially launched less than twelve months ago by Hamlet fans Neil Cole & Shaun Dooley, is quietly optimisitic of breaking through the TEN THOUSAND POUNDS barrier in donations this afternoon, if there is a good response to the collection bucket at the Harrow Borough match later.
The idea, which was simply to raise extra funds to boost the budget of Gavin Rose, on top of the regular wage bill agreed & provided by Club owner Nick McCormack, in effect a little 'top up' when needed, has surpassed all expectations, and every single Hamlet fan who has contributed, whether ten bob, one pound, or even a thousand pounds or more, can rightly be extremely proud of themselves.
