From relegation dogfight to playoff battle as Benjamin heads south to the Hamlet

Dulwich Hamlet have added to their attacking force by signing Joe Benjamin from struggling Bury Town

Ryman League Premier Division promotion-chasers Dulwich Hamlet have added to their attacking force by signing Joe Benjamin from struggling league rivals Bury Town. Benjamin was one of the first to depart Ram Meadow in the wake of budget cuts announced by the Suffolk club with relegation a looming certainty.

Benjamin joined the Suffolk outfit earlier this season after spending the opening part of the season with another league rival, Grays Athletic.

Last season he featured for Lowestoft Town and Billericay Town after starting his career with Northampton Town.

He also has experience in the Conference South with Chelmsford City and Tonbridge Angels.
