It's been a good week for our youngsters
The League programmes have started and it's 'win-win' for The Hamlet lads, under the wing of the ASPIRE Academy
Following on from the previous week's 10-2 thrashing of Eltham Town in the preliminary round of the FA Youth Cup our Youth Team opened up their Kent Youth League Under 18 North division programme last Sunday, and the goals were again banging the back of the net. The Hamlet returned from Crayford Arrows victorious to the tune of four goals to nil. Javaun Splatt bagged a brace, with one each from Henry Adeniran and Carlos Curtas-Roman.
On Wednesday afternoon it was another high-scoring match, most of them being in our favour, as Millwall Lions were handed a 9-2 drubbing by our boys on their travels, in our opening National League Under-19 Alliance Division G match, with Javaun Splatt leading the way with a hat-trick; aided by two apiece from Mohomed Mohomed and Drew Alisanni. The remaining sole goals came from Henry Adiniran and Reece Johnson. Amazingly we are 'only' second in the table after one game, on goal difference, as Phoenix Sports hit nine for no reply, at home to Charlton Athletic Trust!
