It's been a while...

It seems like ages since we've mentioned our Youth Team on here..so here goes!

Over the last week both the Sunday squad, who compete in the Kent Youth League North Division; & the midweek team that are members of the Football Conference Youth Alliance Kent & South-East London section, have both been in action.

Last Sunday we ran out three nil winners at home to Cray Valley, for our fifth consecutive win, with goals from De Nairo Queva; Derecce Thompson & Albert Akinremi.

This leaves our ASPIRE Academy coached side comfortably in top spot, although second placed Greenwich Borough can overhaul us, if they win all of their five games in hand. But they still have to visit our home base of Rutland Walk.

We are back in Kent Youth League action this coming Sunday, 22nd March, when we host Fisher Youth, at Rutland Walk with an 11.00am kick off.

Two days ago, on Wednesday, in the Football Conference Youth Alliance, our Hamlet youngsters won 4-2 away to Cray Wanderers, with Kameko Pope-Campbell scoring two, the others from Tarik Ibrahim & Ricardo Soyoye.

But the previous week we suffered a 4-0 reversal at home to probable champions elect Dartford Reds.

We are still very much in with a shout of obtaining the runners-up slot in the division.
