Spring is on the way...
And it's easy to take warmer weather for granted.
Not so if you are one of the many thousands upon thousands up and down the land that are affected by homelessness. A problem that you might only 'briefly encounter' as you dash past them in shop doorways on the way home as you dash to your mainline station up town.
Maybe, though, you've been unfortunate to have been affected by homelessness personally, & know what an awful thing it is, that could quite easily touch many of us.
One of our fans is doing something about it. Keeley Bolger, is running the London Marathon in aid of the homeless charity Shelter, on Sunday 26th April, and when she approached Dulwich Hamlet Football Club to ask about some help we agreed to donate the proceeds from the 50/50 Draw against East Thurrock United on Saturday, toward her fundraising. We have also given her permission to shake a bucket for donations toward the end of the game, and at the final whistle, by the big blue exit gates at the car park end, to help her.
You can also contribute on her fundraising page, which you can view by CLICKING HERE
Good luck to her, both on Saturday & next month on the run, from all at Dulwich Hamlet FC!
