Junior Club round up
It's been almost a month sice we last reported on the Sunday Juniors..a spell that has been thwarted by the awful weather
Going back to the 13th of January, this was the last time that month when the youngsters from Dulwich Hamlet Junior Football Club kicked a ball in anger!
The Under Eights recorded a close victory, by the odd goal in five, to win a five goal thriller against Crayford Arrows White.
Also winning by the odd goal, this time 2-1, were the Under Elevens, in their SELKENT League C division, away to Petts Wood Herons.
Not such good days out for the next two age groups. Our Under Twelves lost 3-0 in their C West division at Teviot Rangers.
While the Under Thirteens got hit for five, with no reply, in their C Division, at Blackheath Wanderers.
Our last result of the day was in our favour, our Under Fifteens beating Legions 3-1, in their B Division.
The next two Sundays, the 20th & 27th of January were completely wiped out by the weather.
But our youngsters were back on their playing fields last weekend, on Sunday 3rd February.
A mix of wins & defeats for our youngsters in Pink 'n' Blue, but we can take comfort that all of the losses were by no more than one goal each time.
Our Under Eights came through their home match against Welling United, winning 3-2.
With our Under Tens managing double that, winning their home match in the D Division 6-4!
Defeat in the C Division for our Under Elevens, who went down 4-3 away to Meridian Sports.
And also a loss on the road for our Under Twelves, by three goals to two, in their C West division at Royal Greenwich.
Biggest win of the day went to our Under Thirteens, in their C Division, who crushed Sidcup Eagles 7-0 at home.
Also at home, suffering a narrow 2-1 loss, were our Under Fifteens, who were beaten by Erith Youth in their B Division.
